What is Boolean operation? There is a mathematician named Boolean in England. 1847, he invented a logical and mathematical calculation method to deal with the relationship between two values, hence the name. There are four Boolean operations in PPT20 10 and five Boolean operations in PPT20 13 (more shape splitting than in PPT 20 10).
Before adding, we need to know what ribbon and quick access toolbar are. Please refer to Figure 2. We can add functions to the ribbon or quickly access the toolbar according to our own needs.
To dial PPT 20 10:
1. file → Options → Customize ribbon → All commands → Find shape combination, combination, intersection and cut → Add to the new ribbon on the right.
2. File → Options → Customize quick access toolbar → All commands → Find shape combination, combination, intersection, cutting and splitting → Add to quick access toolbar.
PS: You can right-click on the blank space of the ribbon to quickly enter the customized ribbon or customize the quick access toolbar. You can also place the of the quick access toolbar below the ribbon.
Calling steps of PPT 20 13:
Create a new arbitrary shape → Select this shape → Click the Format tab of the ribbon → You will see the merged shape on the right → Right-click the merged shape → Add it to the custom ribbon or customize the quick access toolbar.
Influence of boolean operation on five shapes.
After PS: Boolean operation, the format of the new shape will follow the first selected shape. This is why there are two colors of processing results.
Difference between PPT20 10 and PPT20 13 Boolean operations. The most outstanding improvement of version 20 13 is the addition of Boolean operations between graphics and pictures and between graphics and characters, which is not available in version 20 10.
Boolean operation can quickly draw some simple shapes, which is a sharp weapon to learn PPT mouse drawing.
