I. Purpose and significance of the study
(A) Research background

Homework is not only the feedback of students' mastery of knowledge, but also the educational process of students' independent application and experience of knowledge and skills under the guidance of teachers. In view of the fact that the core problem of implementing quality education is to improve the quality of classroom teaching and reduce students' academic burden. With the in-depth discussion and continuous practice of quality education, mathematics homework as an important part of teaching should also meet the needs of quality education.
However, due to the traditional sea tactics, the problem of poor effectiveness of junior high school math homework is quite prominent. If students have too much homework after class, they can't finish it effectively; Because of the differences among students, the requirements for homework design are different. Therefore, how to arrange homework scientifically, reasonably and effectively should not only attract the attention of mathematics teachers, but also encourage everyone to treat homework as an important teaching link with an analytical and research attitude. In view of this, I put forward "research on the effectiveness of junior high school math homework" as a research topic, hoping to find a better solution.
