The main study courses of business English include: basic English, advanced English, English listening, oral English, English writing, translation theory and practice, history and selected reading of British and American literature, western economics, international trade, international business, marketing and other courses. Students are awarded a bachelor of arts degree after graduation.
Training objectives: This major focuses on cultivating senior English professionals who have a solid English language foundation, systematic theoretical knowledge of international business management and strong practical skills, and can engage in translation, management, teaching and scientific research in foreign trade, foreign affairs, culture, press and publication, education, scientific research and tourism.
Training requirements: Students are required to be well-trained in English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, master the basic theories and knowledge of English language, literature, politics, economy, management, social culture and so on, and pass the TEM-4 (even Band 8) exam.
