2. The teacher firmly believes. All students can learn math except the mentally retarded. Teachers should actively encourage and imply that students "I can do it". If we can't stick to this belief, some students can't get encouragement and courage from teachers' expectation, trust and concern, which leads to the alienation of teachers and students' feelings → development to not listening to your lectures in class → dislike your classes → dislike mathematics → escape and give up learning, and finally form a vicious circle, which directly affects the learning effect.
3. The students are confident. Mathematics is characterized by abstraction, rigorous thinking and strong logical reasoning ability. Some students can't learn math well, mainly because they have no confidence. Therefore, whether in class or after class, teachers should give priority to encouragement and help students ignite the spark of self-confidence. Especially for students with learning difficulties, we should give them more care, start from the foundation, find out their bright spots and cultivate their self-confidence, so that they will not have a vicious circle of "poor grades → no interest in learning mathematics → low enthusiasm for learning → worse grades". Only by caring for students with true love, treating them sincerely, protecting their self-esteem, persisting in democracy and treating them equally can we win their trust. Teachers pay attention to the guidance of learning methods, language encouragement and psychological positive hints, so as to form a good mathematics learning atmosphere in the whole class and the teaching quality will be greatly improved.
4. Bold appreciation. Encourage students to ask questions boldly and express their opinions. The view that "problem is the heart of mathematics" has been recognized by many colleagues. Junior high school students have face and self-esteem as they grow older. Therefore, when students express their biased or even wrong views, teachers should not immediately deny and criticize them, but should analyze the correctness of the students' problem-solving ideas, methods and formulas with other students in the class, and try their best to guide and evaluate them positively. When the methods and skills given by students are better than those given by teachers, they should be fully affirmed, encouraged and praised. Educational psychology research shows that students' learning progress, teachers' praise and recognition are the driving force for students to overcome difficulties and the source of their interest in learning. Only in this way, through appreciation, students will be closer to the teacher, trust the teacher's teaching and learn from the teacher.
5. Be a model. Confucius said: "His body is upright and he goes without orders; His body is not right, although he is not obedient. " Teachers' emotions, attitudes and values have a subtle influence on students. Teachers' professionalism and sense of responsibility will infect students and make them consciously enhance their initiative in learning. If the teacher is lazy and only corrects homework and test papers for a few days, according to the law of forgetting, students almost forget. Without experiencing the fun and success of learning mathematics, students will gradually lose the motivation to continue learning or even give up.
