What's it like to study in China University of Science and Technology?
I am a sophomore in Chinese University of Science and Technology, 20 17. To put it simply, studying in the University of Science and Technology of China will inevitably feel great pressure, some from the academic burden, some from the competition of classmates, but for those who are really interested and have dreams, life here is accompanied by opportunities and growing up in challenges every day, which is really painful and happy. Let me talk about some of my experiences.

First of all, the geographical location of the Chinese University of Science and Technology endows the people of the Chinese University of Science and Technology with a calm and atmospheric temperament. Hefei, Anhui Province is not a first-tier city. Although Hefei has developed rapidly recently, it is an indisputable fact that the level of economic development is still far lower than that of famous schools in Beijing and Shanghai. In such an environment, people who are really interested in scientific research can often concentrate on their studies without flashy noise and interference from right and wrong. People in HKUST are often more like hermits, polishing themselves silently in their hard work and research, choosing silence and loneliness when students in other schools engage in activities and entertainment, laying a foundation for their own life development and making contributions to the country and the nation.

Furthermore, I want to talk about the teachers and classmates of the Chinese University of Science and Technology. The teachers of the Chinese University of Science and Technology are all top scientific research talents in their respective fields, and they often shoulder the heavy responsibility of scientific research after teaching activities. Students of the Chinese University of Science and Technology often have outstanding advantages and specialties in their respective majors. You can always meet people who are better and harder than you here. This is pressure and motivation. Therefore, as the topic owner said, HKUST is indeed full of cattle, and its elite education model has largely guaranteed the level of talents. There will inevitably be pressure to study here. If you just want to find a good job, HKUST can be a choice; However, if you want to achieve success in the future, HKUST must be the best choice for physics-related science and engineering fields.

Generally speaking, studying in HKUST is a good choice.

These are some of my experiences, and I hope I can help you.
