How to Cultivate Students' Logical Thinking Ability in Reasoning Teaching
1) From the characteristics of mathematics, mathematics is abstract and logical. Mathematics itself is a definite system composed of many judgments. These judgments are expressed by mathematical terms, logical terms and sentences represented by corresponding symbols, and new judgments are formed by some judgments with the help of logical reasoning. And the sum of these judgments constitutes the science of mathematics. Although the content of primary school mathematics is relatively simple, there is no strict reasoning and argumentation, but it is a real scientific conclusion drawn through people's abstraction, generalization, judgment, reasoning and argumentation, but it does not give students strict logical argumentation. Even so, it is inseparable from judgment and reasoning for a moment. This provides a very favorable condition for cultivating students' logical thinking. (2) From the characteristics of primary school students' thinking, primary school students are in the transition stage from concrete image thinking to abstract logical thinking. Especially in the middle and senior grades, students' abstract thinking has undergone a "leap" or "qualitative change". Specifically, 10- 1 1 year-old students can gradually separate the essential features of concepts, initially master more scientific definitions, understand the logical relationship between concepts, and independently conduct some simple logical analysis and indirect reasoning (that is, deduce new judgments from several judgments). Therefore, it can be said that this stage is a favorable period for developing students' formal logical thinking. It can be seen that the cultivation of students' initial logical thinking ability by primary school mathematics syllabus is in line with the characteristics of mathematics discipline and the age characteristics of primary school students.
