According to the official syllabus, high school mathematics knowledge includes undergraduate mathematics basic courses and high school mathematics knowledge. The basic knowledge of undergraduate mathematics refers to the contents closely related to middle school mathematics in university courses such as mathematical analysis, advanced algebra, analytic geometry, probability theory and mathematical statistics, including the basic knowledge of series limit, function limit, continuous function, unary function calculus, vector and its operation, matrix and transformation, probability and mathematical statistics. Mathematics knowledge in senior high school refers to all the contents of compulsory courses, elective courses series 1 and 2, and elective courses 3- 1 (selected lectures on the history of mathematics), 4- 1 (selected lectures on geometric proof), 4-2 (matrix and transformation) and 4-4 (coordinate system and parameters).
The knowledge of junior high school mathematics includes the basic courses of college mathematics, the compulsory contents and some elective contents of senior high school mathematics, and the content knowledge of junior high school mathematics. The knowledge of college mathematics basic course refers to the contents closely related to middle school mathematics in college mathematics courses such as mathematical analysis, advanced algebra, analytic geometry, probability theory and mathematical statistics, and the rest are consistent with advanced mathematics.
