"U-Waterloo, mathematics and computer science are the most famous majors in Sliding University. The School of Mathematics is the only one in Canada and the largest in North America. Specific majors include: applied mathematics/optimization combination/pure mathematics/computer science/actuarial statistics/enterprise management and mathematics/mathematics and accounting/statistics/mathematics teaching/software engineering/bioinformatics/operational research/enterprise management and mathematics (double degree).

The biggest feature of Waterloo is the application of mathematics in different fields, which provides more than ten majors such as business management and mathematics, mathematics and accounting, computer science, software engineering and bioinformatics. Another feature of Sliding University is to jointly promote the development of computer specialty with the School of Mathematics.
