Solving two math problems in grade one of junior high school with one-dimensional linear equation.
1. If each type B machine produces X products every day, then each type A machine produces X+/kloc-0 products every day.

From problems and equations

[5×(x+ 1)-4]/8 =(7x- 1)/ 1 1

That is 55x+ 1 1=56x-8.

Solution, x = 19

Each box contains (7×19-1) ÷11=12 pieces.

Therefore, each box contains 12 products.

2. A box of moon cakes needs flour.

=0.05×2+0.02×4

= 0.18kg

One * * * can produce moon cakes: 4500 ÷ 0. 18 = 25000 boxes.

Flour required for big moon cakes = 0.05× 2× 25000 = 2500 kg.

Flour required for small moon cakes = 0.02× 4× 25000 = 2000 kg.

So the big moon cake needs 2500kg flour, and the small moon cake needs 2000kg flour.
