How to convert scanned paper into CAD format
1. Scan the drawing into image format.

2. Open the Scan2CAD software and load the raster file (find the map to be converted).

3. Convert the raster file to grayscale color, and then select grayscale from the "Select Palette" option in the palette menu.

4. Select Smooth from the Raster Effect menu.

5. Click F8 to start quantifying the loss.

6. After quantization, select Save under "Cancel Quantization" in the "File" menu. The saved image can be opened directly in CAD through DXF format. This is a preserved CAD drawing.
