Chen Shengshen initiated and led the research in the fields of global differential geometry, fiber bundle differential geometry and "Chen Shengshen's instruction course", and became the first China native to win the highest honor "wolf prize in mathematics" in the world of mathematics, and was honored as "the father of differential geometry" by the international mathematics community. When Chen Shengshen won the wolf prize in mathematics, he was a professor at an American university, a member of the American Academy of Sciences, an honorary member of the Royal Society and honorary director of the National Institute of Mathematics.
