The entrance examination subjects for ordinary colleges and universities are: liberal arts are Chinese, mathematics (literature), foreign languages and liberal arts integration; Science is a combination of Chinese, mathematics (science), foreign languages and science.

Full marks for Chinese, mathematics and foreign language papers are 150, full marks for liberal arts and science papers are 300, and the total score is 750. Among them, the written test of foreign language subjects 120, listening test 30. The listening test is conducted at the beginning of the test.

The foreign language test is divided into six languages: English, Russian, Japanese, French, German and Spanish. Candidates can choose one of them to take the exam.

Candidates who apply for sports and art must also take professional examinations, which are required to be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the province.

Candidates who apply for Mongolian teaching major will try Mongolian when taking the national unified examination. For majors applying to teach in Mongolian, the scores of Chinese and Mongolian are counted as 50% respectively, but the Chinese score must reach the qualified level, which is tied with the total scores of other subjects in the college entrance examination. With reference to the voluntary application of candidates, colleges and universities will select the best candidates.

2. The entrance examination is divided into two parts: cultural examination and professional examination.

The subjects of cultural examination are Chinese, mathematics and English, with full marks of 120. There is no listening test in English.

Apply for nine categories of candidates, including tourism, finance, agriculture and forestry, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, machinery, electronics and electrician, architecture, computer and medicine. Professional examination is divided into professional theory and professional skills, with full score of 240 for professional theory and full score of 150 for professional skills. Professional theory examination and professional skills examination are conducted at the same time, and the classification adopts the methods of unified proposition, unified examination, unified marking and unified grading in the whole province, which are undertaken by relevant universities.

Candidates who apply for pre-school education major will only take professional theory in the professional examination, and the subject is educational theory, with a score of 390, which will be conducted at the same time as the college entrance examination.
