If reading comprehension is in English, then reading is also in English. Understanding needs to be achieved by directly understanding English without translating it into any Chinese! If you are a translator, you should at least distinguish between English that you know English and English that you know Chinese. If you use too much Chinese, it is difficult to understand English in real English. Forget it if you don't believe it.
