What exactly is 1 byte = 8bit?
brief introduction

The Chinese name of bit is bit, transliterated as "bit", which is the smallest unit used to describe the amount of computer data.

Bit comes from binary numbers and was put forward by mathematician John Wilde Tukey (it may have been put forward by 1946, but it was reportedly put forward by 1943). The first formal use of this term was in Shannon's famous paper "Mathematical Theory of Communication" on page 1. [ 1]

In the binary number system, every 0 or 1 is a bit.

use

Indicates the data rate, that is, the data transmission rate, in bits per second (indicating how many binary digits "1 or 0" are transmitted per second).

Usually written as: bit/sb/sb/sb/sb/sb/sbtb/s bps (bits per second) and the source of these English letters: K:kilo (thousands) M:mega (trillions) G:giga (Kyrgyzstan) T:tera (too).
