Is π a normal number?
No, it is still unknown whether pi (a mathematician proved in 2000 that the binary normality of π can be deduced from a reasonable but unproven conjecture about chaos theory) is normal. (But based on the experimental evidence, I guess they are probably normal figures. Proof is still out of reach: even what numbers appear in the decimal representation of these constants in 10 is still unknown. 200 1, david belle and Richard E. Crandall guess that every irrational algebraic number is normal. Although no counterexample was found, no such number was proved to be normal at every base.
