Dr. Yuan has rich theoretical research and practical experience in the financial industry. His work experience spans the academic research environment of universities, banks, insurance, financial audit companies, financial risk management and energy trading industries. Since 1990, a series of pioneering and systematic academic research achievements have been made in KKM theory of nonlinear mathematics, mathematical (financial) economics, financial engineering/financial mathematics, game theory, optimization theory, nonlinear set-valued analysis, fixed point theory of nonlinear set-valued analysis and its application. Dr. Yuan's series of original, pioneering and systematic academic research achievements and applied research have been recognized and accepted by international peers and experts, and important achievements have been recognized by colleagues at home and abroad in scientific research. His research results are still at the international leading level and he is an internationally renowned scholar.

In terms of industry practice, since 2008, Dr. Yuan has been sent by Deloitte Global to set up the "Pricing and Risk Measurement Department" to provide professional risk measurement and management services based on the New Basel Accord for large domestic financial institutions such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank, China Merchants Bank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. Dr. Yuan's unique insights and in-depth understanding of the actual situation and supervision of China's financial industry, the projects he implemented and the financial risk consulting team he led have been widely recognized by domestic banks and energy circles. Dr. Yuan is also one of the well-known experts and industry leaders in the financial consulting industry at home and abroad.

1994 has been working in the Department of Mathematics of Queensland University in Brisbane, Australia, and actively participated in academic activities, social activities and professional organization activities in Australia, Canada and the United States. At present, he is a visiting/part-time/visiting professor/consultant in more than ten universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, and is also the editorial board of many international professional magazines.
