The provinces that use the national volume B are: Gansu, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Jilin and Heilongjiang (the old college entrance examination: still using the comprehensive model of arts and sciences, using the national volume for Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology).

The adoption of National Volume B will help to promote the balanced allocation of educational resources between Jiangxi Province and other regions and improve the quality and level of education in Jiangxi Province. National Volume B also conforms to the trend of college entrance examination reform, promotes the reform of the evaluation system and enrollment mechanism of college entrance examination in Jiangxi Province, and provides strong support for the development of higher education in Jiangxi Province.
