In 2022, the 12th Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students in the Asia-Pacific Region (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is a discipline competition for college students in the Asia-Pacific region sponsored by Beijing Image Graphics Society. The Organizing Committee of the Asia-Pacific Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students is responsible for organizing the competition. Colleges and universities are welcome to organize students to sign up for the competition in accordance with the competition rules and relevant regulations.
In 20021year, more than 27,000 students from 820 universities signed up for the 11th Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students in the Asia-Pacific Region. The participating universities cover 39 985 universities in Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Sichuan University and Dalian University of Technology, and 1 14 2 1 1 universities.
In addition to universities in Chinese mainland, the participating teams include the University of California, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins University and new york University in the United States. Middlesex University, Oxford University, Liverpool University and Nottingham University in the UK; Aachen University of Technology; Germany;
St Petersburg State University of Architecture, Russia; Belarusian State University of Information and Radio Electronics; Melbourne University, Australia; University of Malaya in Malaysia; City University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology and Macau Polytechnic University in Macau;
Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Polytechnic University are in Hong Kong; Chinese-foreign cooperative universities such as unnc, Shenzhen MSUBIT University and Xi Jiao Tong University.
At present, the competition has a high international influence, and it is one of the evaluation competitions for scientific research protection, comprehensive evaluation and innovation scholarship in domestic universities.
The contest is open to students from all over the country (including graduate students, undergraduates and junior college students). The specific requirements are as follows:
1. The number of participants is 1-3. All the contestants must be students, and teams across schools, grades and majors are allowed.
2. The determination of the competition group is based on the fact that the players have the highest learning level.
3. Each team is allowed to have one coach at most. The instructor must be a full-time college teacher, and the team may not have an instructor.
