Under normal circumstances, the preliminaries are organized by the provinces themselves, and the time is concentrated from April to September. All need to register through their high schools, and some provinces and cities have no preliminaries.
The provinces that have not held the preliminaries all adopt the form of quota allocation. Please consult the teachers in the school for the specific quota situation and selection method.
The threshold for participating in the preliminaries is low and the number of people is large. The provinces make their own propositions, and the length, type, total score and difficulty of the examination vary. But the difficulty of the general test questions is only slightly higher than that of the college entrance examination.
2. League match
After the preliminaries, there is the National High School Mathematics League, which is usually called Gao Lian or League. The test is much more difficult than the preliminaries. The form of the test is written test, which is divided into one test and two tests.
Try to examine module knowledge such as function, sequence, inequality, vector complex number, permutation and combination, analytic geometry and solid geometry. The module of the exam is similar to the college entrance examination, but it is more difficult.
Second, try to investigate the knowledge of plane geometry, algebra, number theory and combinatorial mathematics (note: the order of the questions has nothing to do with the arrangement order). 40 points for the first two questions and 50 points for the last two questions.
3. Finals
The final (CMO) is more difficult, and the top 60 players in the final will be selected into the national training team and qualified for walking.
Second, how to teach yourself the math contest in senior high school?
1.? Learn high school content quickly and reach the college entrance examination standard.
The first step must be to learn the required textbooks for senior high school quickly. Because the study of the competition is based on mastering senior high school mathematics skillfully.
You can learn according to the course order of the textbook, and you should also refer to the teaching AIDS when learning the textbook, so as not to miss some knowledge points.
After being familiar with the teaching materials, the application of skills is also important. NMET knowledge and problem-solving skills should be integrated. If you really can't understand the overall knowledge structure, you should also learn the basic usage, and finally you should probably reach the level of NMET 130+.
Step into the competition door and start learning the content.
As the first round of learning, the key point is to systematically learn the knowledge of mathematics competition, form a knowledge framework, master basic knowledge points and problem-solving methods, and develop good thinking habits. There is no need to study too deeply and too hard.
The recommended textbook is Olympic Mathematics Course, which is divided into three grades: Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three. Each grade includes three books, namely, the Olympic Mathematics course, the ability test of the Olympic Mathematics course (exercises) and the learning manual of the Olympic Mathematics course (answers to exercises).
This set of books systematically combs the knowledge of high school competitions. Each lecture has a summary of knowledge points and basic methods, detailed examples and supporting exercises, which is more suitable for students who have just entered the competition. The trial can focus on the contents of volumes one and two of senior high school.
Of course, some students will find it very difficult to start learning math competitions after completing the knowledge of high school math classes! This is because students also use the fixed thinking of high school in the learning competition, so it will become more and more difficult to learn.
In view of this situation, students can read some books about competitive thinking first, such as Higher and Better Mathematical Thinking Methods in Senior High School and Denton's Research on Solving Problems. While learning the way of thinking, we should give some corresponding examples to help practice. Maintain the state of learning competition and strengthen learning competition.
Try to learn the content of the second exam and improve it.
First of all, we should simply study the four modules of high school league, including plane geometry, algebra, number theory and combination, and basically understand all the contents of each module. On the one hand, we must ensure that we can understand the meaning of the second test question and think about it, on the other hand, we must also ensure that we can score points when we encounter simple questions or familiar questions.

Generally, we require students to learn all the contents within one year and try the basic contents of the four modules. Because the frontier has been changing, it is very important for students who want to attack the provincial team and then the winter camp gold medal or enter the training team to understand the frontier dynamics.
