A master's degree means taking a master's course first and doing a master's thesis. If the master's thesis has a high starting point and good quality, it can reach the level of doctoral thesis. After completing and passing the review and defense, the doctor's degree will be awarded.
If the thesis does not reach the doctoral level, you can apply for a master's degree. Direct doctoral study means that before graduation, you don't need to get a bachelor's degree or a master's degree, and you don't have to take the doctoral entrance examination. You are directly qualified for a doctorate after selection.
