Translation means that the figure moves a certain distance along a straight line in the same plane. This graphic movement is called graphic translation, or translation for short. Translation does not change the shape and size of the figure, and the translated figure is parallel (or on the same straight line) and equal to the line segment connected by the corresponding point on the original figure. It is isometric isomorphism and one of affine transformations in affine space. It can be regarded as adding the same vector to each point or coordinate system.
Rotation refers to circular motion around a point or a line.
