Wenzhou, referred to as "Ou" for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province and the central city of the Yangtze River Delta. Located in the southeast of Zhejiang Province, it borders the East China Sea in the east, Fujian Province in the south, Lishui City in the west and northwest, and Taizhou City in the north and northeast. Wenzhou was called Ou Di in ancient times, also known as Dongou. In the first year of Taining (323), Yongjia County was established. According to legend, when the county was built, there were white deer holding flowers around the city, hence the name Lucheng. In the second year of Shangyuan (675), it was called Wenzhou, which was built more than 2,000 years ago.

Wenzhou is a national II-type big city, an important trade city and regional central city approved by the State Council, the cradle of mathematicians in China, the hometown of South Opera in China and the shoe capital of China. Wenzhou people are called Oriental Jews by China people.

It is the pioneer area of private economy development in China and the front position of reform and opening up. There is a comprehensive financial reform pilot zone in Wenzhou. In the early days of reform and opening-up, it was famous for its "Wuchuan in the south and Wenzhou in the north" and was one of the first coastal open cities in China. 14.

Wenzhou is a national historical and cultural city, known as the "Southeast Mountain is the best in the world", with many scenic spots such as Yandang Mountain, Jiang Xinyu, nanxi river, Tongling Mountain, Baizhangkuang, Nanji Islands, Baidao Dongtou and so on.
