Henan University (referred to as Heda University for short) is a comprehensive research university jointly established by Henan provincial government and provincial offices. [1] ranks among the first national "double-class" universities. The school is located in Kaifeng, and the current party secretary Lu Pingping and the principal Zhang Suojiang. As of September 9, 2022, the school has Zhengzhou Longzihu Campus, Kaifeng Minglun Campus (modern architecture is a national key cultural relics protection unit) and Jin Ming Campus, with a total area of more than 5,500 mu and 13 disciplines. Henan University was founded in 19 12 as a preparatory school for Henan to study in Europe and America. It was upgraded to National Henan University in 1942 after the stages of Zhongzhou University, National Kaifeng Sun Yat-sen University (also known as National Fifth Sun Yat-sen University) and Provincial Henan University. 1952 department adjustment, some departments were either established independently or merged into brother universities, and the headquarters was renamed Henan Normal University. Later, after passing through Kaifeng Normal University and Henan Normal University, the name of Henan University was restored on 1984. [3]
