What are the scientific research achievements of the School of Mathematical Sciences of Shanghai Jiaotong University?
scientific research

The School of Mathematical Sciences now has two research institutes (Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Institute of Complex Systems) and two postdoctoral mobile stations in mathematics and statistics. On 20 12, the key laboratory of scientific engineering calculation was added, on 20 14, the key laboratory of mathematical modeling, analysis and calculation of multi-physical processes was added, and on 20 15, an interdisciplinary research platform funded by NSFC was actively established.

In recent five years, 753 SCI papers have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad. The achievements published in Journal of American Mathematical Society, Siam Review, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, advances in mathematics, Statistical Yearbook and other magazines have great influence and potential application value. He won many academic honors, including two first prizes of Shanghai Natural Science Award, two second prizes of Shanghai Natural Science Award 1 Anhui Natural Science Award 1 Second Prize, and the first prize of "Youth Science and Technology Award" of China Logistics Society. His research achievements were selected as "201KLOC-0/National/KLOC-" The funding rate of various scientific research projects has increased year by year. Only the National Natural Science Foundation of China has accepted the project 1 10 in recent five years, with a cumulative contract amount of 39.556 million. School of Mathematical Sciences/Academy of Natural Sciences of Shanghai Jiaotong University is one of the nodes of the NSF research network in the United States (currently there are only three international nodes in the network: Cambridge University, Paris VI University and Shanghai Jiaotong University). Signed a memorandum of scientific research cooperation with world-class research institutions (six J·L· Lions laboratories in Paris, and Institute of Mathematics in Oxford University, UK) to further deepen the cooperation in laboratory/research center construction. Communications on Pure and Applied Analysis, an international mathematical magazine co-sponsored by our department and the American Institute of Mathematics, has been included in SCI since 2009, and was selected as a quality periodical of the Ministry of Education in 20 12.
