Xi University of Posts and Telecommunications is a teaching-oriented university which focuses on engineering, features information science and technology, combines engineering, science, management, economics, literature and law, and develops harmoniously. 199 1 awarded bachelor's degree, 1997 successfully passed the first batch of undergraduate teaching evaluation by the former state education commission. In 2000, it was transferred to Shaanxi Province, and the management system was jointly established by the Ministry of Information Industry and Shaanxi Province, with Shaanxi Province as the main management.
