1, Chen Jingrun. Chen Jingrun, a native of Fujian, graduated from the Mathematics Department of Xiamen University and later taught in Beijing No.4 Middle School. However, he was suspended because of slurred speech and returned to Xiamen University as a teaching assistant. Two years later, Chen Jingrun published "Problems in the Tower", which improved the result of Mr. Hua's "prime theory of base product" and won Professor Hua's "encounter with kindness". He has worked in Institute of Mathematics of China Academy of Sciences and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
At the age of 33, Chen Jingrun published "Representing Even Numbers as the Sum of the Products of One Prime Number and No More than Two Prime Numbers" (referred to as "1+2"), which became a milestone in Goldbach's conjecture research. At the age of 40, he published the detailed proof of "1+2" again, improved the numerical results published in 1966, and immediately caused a sensation in the international mathematics community, which called him "Chen Theorem".
From September 2065438 to September 2009, Academician Chen Jingrun, who died for 23 years, was selected as the "most beautiful struggler" in recognition of his outstanding contribution to mathematics, especially "Analytic Number Theory".
2. sue. Sue is probably the Zhejiang native who knows math best.
His century-long career started from the stormy end of the Qing Dynasty (1902), and experienced the ups and downs of the 20th century until 2003, which witnessed the drastic changes in China society and the alternation of inheritance in the field of mathematics.
Academician of China Academy of Sciences, famous mathematician and educator, founder of China School of Differential Geometry. He enjoys many reputations at home and abroad, such as "the brilliant star of mathematics in the East", "the first geometer in the East" and "the king of mathematics".
But because of Hua's words, I think it is more practical and educational for today's young people, so I can only put Mr. Su in the second place.
I believe that Academician Su will definitely agree with Academician Hua's words!
3. Hua. Hua was a "master of the Republic of China" and was born in 19 10. His ancestral home is Danyang, Jiangsu. He likes to think with his head since he was a child, and is often called "Luo nerd" by his friends. Unfortunately, because my family was poor when I was a child, I was unable to pay my tuition when I was in junior high school, so I had to drop out of school to help my father run the grocery store.
If it is now, a "poor student" will become a self-employed, and there is a high probability that he will give up his studies and ideal heart and waste his life. But in dealing with fate and math problems, Hua is always persistent!
He taught himself some math courses in high school and university for five years. Although he was disabled in his left leg due to illness, he was still employed as an ordinary clerk in Jintan Middle School, and began to publish academic papers in domestic journals, which caused a sensation in the mathematical community on the grounds that Su Jiaju's algebraic quintic equation solution could not be established. This year, he was only 20 years old.
Professor Xiong Qinglai of Tsinghua University made an exception and let junior high school graduates work in the library. In just three years, Hua taught himself four foreign languages, English, French, German and Japanese, and published three papers in domestic and foreign magazines.
This young man not only studies hard, but also has great talent.
At the age of 23, Hua became a teaching assistant in Tsinghua University, a lecturer the following year, and then went abroad to study at Cambridge University in England. In two years, he published at least 15 articles and won a good reputation internationally. After returning to China, 27-year-old Hua became a full professor in Tsinghua University, but he still insisted on writing. From 1939 to 194 1, Hua wrote more than 20 papers in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and also completed the mathematical monograph "On Matching Prime Numbers".
During the Anti-Japanese War, he briefly went to study in the United States, and after the founding of New China, he couldn't wait to return home resolutely.
He once wrote in his letter, "Although Liangyuan is good, it is not a land of long residence." He also shouted "Science has no national boundaries, and scientists have their own motherland", which is still inspiring to read until now.
Looking at Academician Hua's brilliant achievements and his patriotic feelings, it is worthy of being sought after by young people today!
In the final analysis, no matter how attractive the salary and development prospects of Silicon Valley in the United States are, our graduates from Tsinghua Peking University and young talents trained by China should all return to the motherland!
