What does series mean?
A sequence is a function that sequentially connects the items of a sequence with a plus sign. Typical series include positive series, staggered series, power series, Fourier series and so on.

Series theory is a branch of analysis; Together with another branch of calculus, it appears in other branches as basic knowledge and tools. Both of them take limit as the basic tool, and study the object of analysis from discrete and continuous aspects, that is, the dependence between variables-function.

Introduction to related terms of series

1, sequence

A function whose domain is a set of positive integers (or its finite set) is an ordered number. Every number in a series is called an item in this series. The number ranked first is called the 1 term of this series (usually also called the first term), and the number ranked second is called the second term of this series.

2. Stones

Calculus, the basic branch of mathematics. The content mainly includes function, limit, differential calculus, integral calculus and its application. Function is the basic object of calculus research, limit is the basic concept of calculus, and differential and integral are the limits of concrete process and form.

/kloc-in the second half of the 7th century, British mathematician isaac newton and German mathematician G.W. Leibniz summarized and developed the work of the previous hundred years and established calculus, but their starting point was intuitive infinitesimal, so they still lacked a strict theoretical basis.
