Regarding diving, what do you think is the difference between the three-meter springboard and the ten-meter platform?
I think as for the difference between the three-meter board and the ten-meter platform, only the naked eye can see the essential difference. One is high, the other is low, the other is inelastic and the other is elastic. First of all, if you look at the difficulty, I think the three-meter springboard is more difficult. Compared with 10 m diving, 3 m diving is more difficult, and 10 m platform height has a lot of room to play. The 3-meter board takes into account the athletes' movements and heights, so it will be more difficult. It is very difficult for athletes to take off on the three-meter board and complete a series of actions in the air. The shorter the distance, the faster the reaction ability. You need to make standard movements very quickly and fall into the water perfectly. 10 meter platform is relatively high after take-off, so people will have more time to complete the action. When the action is wrong, it is relatively possible to correct the action in time.

I think the height of three meters is relatively high, so I need a springboard to throw a parabola to the athletes. This means holding your breath long enough to complete some actions. If you change to a three-meter platform, it will be too short to do the action, and the ornamental competitiveness will be reduced. 10 meter platform is high enough to allow athletes enough time to complete their movements. The diving time after changing to springboard is not much different from that of 10 meter platform. In addition, the springboard is also very dangerous. If the jumping direction deviates, it may cause injury to the athletes.

Speaking of diving competitions, young athletes jumped off the platform and older athletes jumped on the springboard. Young athletes are underdeveloped and have advantages in controlling splash on platform. Because young athletes are light in weight, lack of muscle strength, can't press the board, and the difficulty of movement can't go up, so generally young athletes will choose platform competition. However, the old athletes have great muscle strength, are skilled in using boards and are not prone to make mistakes in their psychological quality, so there are many springboard.

I think the take-off of platform diving is stable, which is completely different from springboard diving. Generally, fast run-up and low jump are adopted, and the body shape is tightened rapidly after flying, shortening the radial distance of vertical axis rotation. Whether the longitudinal rolling force and the lateral rotating force are coordinated, coherent and appropriate is the key to do a good job of rolling and turning. I think the diving level in China is particularly high, and China, the United States, Russian and German are in the leading position.
