Chapter II Highway Daily Maintenance Machinery
The first section cleaning machinery
First, the function, classification and quantity of sweepers
1. Function of sweeper
The function of sweeper is to clean and collect road garbage. On the high-grade highway, the cleaning machine should have enough running speed and working speed to meet the requirements of the high-grade highway for vehicle running speed and reduce the interference to other running vehicles.
2. Cleaning machine classification and model labeling method
(1) sweeper classification
Pavement cleaning machinery is generally classified according to working principle and walking mode, as shown in Figure 2. 1.
All kinds of sweepers have different characteristics, which are described as follows.
① The suction sweeper has a wide cleaning range and good adaptability, and has a good suction and transportation effect on fine garbage and dust particles. The reason is that it has a disk brush, a column brush and a suction port that can extend out of the basic car body. The disk brush can concentrate the garbage at the roadside and corner in front of the suction port, and use aerodynamic force to suck up the garbage through the suction port and transport it to the garbage bin.
(2) The pure sweeper generally has a disk brush, a column brush, a conveying part and a dustbin, which can extend out of the basic car body. Disk brush and column brush can transport the garbage at the roadside, corner and other places to the conveyor belt or chain plate, and finally reach the garbage bin, so it has the characteristics of wide cleaning range and good adaptability. The main disadvantages of this model are: the dust removal effect is poor, and the cleaning effect of small particles is poor, so it is mainly used in densely populated streets and urban roads.
(3) The self-propelled sweeper is driven by its own power, which has good integrity and independence, and has the characteristics of large working range and high working efficiency. At present, the chassis of self-propelled sweeper is usually improved from the existing automobile chassis.
(4) The tractor sweeper pays attention to other machines or walks by manpower, so its integrity, independence and mobility are poor, but it has the characteristics of simple structure and low manufacturing cost.
