Zhengzhou University has one diploma in physical education and training, but all physical education majors are not one, two and three. As long as all sports majors are undergraduates, the undergraduate education level and the specifications of the school are under the supervision of the provincial sports bureau, and its business work is led by the provincial education department.

Henan Institute of Physical Education, formerly known as 1958, 1962 was closed due to national economic difficulties; 1984, Henan Institute of Sports Technology; 1992 was merged into Zhengzhou University and renamed as Physical Education College of Zhengzhou University (with independent legal personality).
