The college has strong scientific research strength and excellent teachers' business. In 2009, the 11th Five-Year Plan Textbook of Aviation Vocational Education, edited by Sichuan Southwest Aviation College, was officially published by Sichuan Education Press and selected as a professional textbook by many aviation colleges in China. The "Twelfth Five-Year Plan Textbook for Aviation Vocational Education" compiled by the Institute was officially published in 20 12, and was popularized in aviation colleges and universities all over the country.
The college has established close cooperative relations with hundreds of civil aviation units at home and abroad, and jointly carried out vocational skills training for civil aviation posts with a number of civil aviation units.
