"Wuming Campus of Guangxi University for Nationalities is located in Development Avenue, Wuming District, Nanning, covering an area of 1032.8 mu. The campus is surrounded by mountains and waters, with a beautiful environment, which can meet the requirements of 15000 full-time college students.
The school was founded in 1952, and was originally the Guangxi branch of the Central University for Nationalities (now the Central University for Nationalities). 1953 was renamed Guangxi University for Nationalities, and 1958 was renamed Guangxi University for Nationalities in 2006.
Guangxi University for Nationalities (Guangxi University for Nationalities? [45]), referred to as "National People's University", located in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a "provincial-level * * * co-established" university by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the first batch of key universities in the central and western regions of China, the first-class discipline construction universities in Guangxi, the "Hundred Schools Project" and the scholarship receiving institution for overseas students in China. It is the "National Foreign Language Non-General Language Undergraduate Talent Base" (small language talent base). The national "863 Plan" and "973 Plan" undertake universities, "China-ASEAN Legal Training Base", "ASEAN National Chinese Talent Training Center", "Overseas Chinese Teachers Training Program in China" and "Confucius Institute Scholarship Student Receiving Institution", which are selected as the nine most poetic universities in China, and are the key universities to be built in Guangxi during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period.
