Tan Jie Phenomenon in Tan Jie
At the end of last century, people marveled at his chic style of being both a politician and an official. As the director of culture and education in Luoning County, he has made great achievements. As a poet, writer and calligrapher, he won flowers and applause in today's literary world with his extraordinary literary talent. As a result, people discovered the "Tan Jie phenomenon" and said that he rarely had a poetic heart, namely, a benevolent heart and a beautiful heart.

At the beginning of this century, colleagues in the education circle were amazed at his feat of revitalizing Luoyang normal education. "As the dean of Luoyang University Teachers College, he has shaped the school, trained students and improved the taste and quality of Luoyang Normal Education with the academic concept of university education, rich national culture, elegant scholar style and strong personality charm." An old normal educator who asked not to be named commented on Tan Jie.

In the spring of 2003, Luoyang No.1 Normal School, with a history of nearly 100 years, was merged into Luoyang University and formally established as Luoyang University Normal College. This famous normal school, which once had many glories and enjoyed a high reputation in Luoyang and even the whole province, ushered in the development opportunity of being promoted to the level of higher normal college during the transition from the third-level normal school to the second-level normal school. Dean Tan Jie was so excited that he couldn't sleep at night. He also wrote a poem "Water Regulation? Luoyang First Normal College was merged into Luoyang University to establish Luoyang University Normal College: "... to promote education, seek development and revitalize Xuanyuan. Laying a good foundation, normal education is preferred. ..... teach without regret, and laugh about educating Yingxian. "

It's really poetic, and between the lines, it reveals Tan Jie's great talent and grand desire to revitalize normal education.

In addition to the joy, Dean Tan Jie fell into deep thought: the school was upgraded overnight, and the secondary school became a junior college. This is just a change in form. It is not a one-off event to complete the substantive evolution, realize the real quality improvement, and let the society recognize it as a veritable normal college, but it must go through arduous efforts and struggles.

A grand blueprint was sketched out in his mind: after three to five years of hard work, Luoyang University Teachers College will be built into a training base with strong teachers, distinctive features and strong school-running strength, which can cultivate primary and secondary school teachers with modern consciousness, modern skills, humanistic quality, scientific quality, practical ability and innovation ability. Tan Jie blew the battle horn to the teachers and students in the college development work conference in the new era: "Establish university consciousness, shape university image, and make great achievements in the university."

"A great scholar is not called an architecture, but a master." According to the guidance of the ancient philosophers' thought, Tan Jie initiated the strategy of "famous teachers drive famous schools" and implemented the "532 1 Project": with the goal of casting a team of creative teachers with high level, high academic qualifications and high professional titles in the new era, with self-cultivation, off-campus introduction and high welfare treatment as the means to comprehensively improve the level and quality of teachers and train more than five famous teachers in five years.

"Why do you want to emphasize the famous teacher? It's because a great teacher makes a great apprentice. A famous teacher is a flag, a flag and a tree. Under his command, it is possible to attract three thousand disciples. A famous teacher is a lamp. He not only gives students knowledge, but also may affect or even change a student's life. A famous teacher is a bridge. The knowledge and spirit of famous teachers will condense into an invisible bridge and become the only way to connect students' struggle and success. The development of the school needs famous teachers, and students expect to have their own famous teachers. To this end, we must establish a sense of famous teachers with great fanfare and spare no effort to strive for the cultivation of famous teachers. "

Dean Tan Jie, who is eager for talents, has become an expert in training famous teachers. In order to train famous teachers, he decided to implement the strategy of promoting teachers through scientific research, requiring "all teachers to engage in scientific research and projects in various professions". In order to train famous teachers, he asked teachers to practice basic skills hard and achieve "five ones", that is, listen to a class every week, attend an open class or seminar every period, publish a paper with a certain academic level every year, make a student friend every week, and have a long-term research topic. The whole hospital mobilized together, and a new atmosphere of all-staff training and all-staff competition emerged.

Just two years have passed, and the research achievements of the institute are numerous, and famous teachers come forth in large numbers. In 2004 alone, it won 29 educational and scientific research achievement awards, including 2 1 outstanding achievement award in educational management and 8 scientific research achievement awards in Henan education system. In addition, it was approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Education as six times that of the Tenth Five-Year Plan for Education Science. In the tenth five-year plan of social science, it was approved by the provincial social science association for seven times. Dean Tan Jie took the lead in striving for famous teachers, gained a great reputation as a teacher, and published many collections of poems and novels. He was elected as the vice president of Henan Poetry Society, the vice president of Luoyang Writers Association and the president of Luoyang Poetry Research Association. His deeds were included in China Expert Dictionary and Who's Who in China Literary and Art Circles. In March 2004, the annual meeting and academic report meeting of piano tuning lawyers in Henan Province was held in our college, and Mr. Chen Changming was elected as the executive vice president. Li Huanyou, a young teacher, participated in the compilation of the provincial textbook "Primary Chinese Teaching Method", which was officially published by Zhengzhou University Press in March 2004.

"Schools are based on educating people, and teachers are proud of educating people". Dean Tan Jie talked with relish about the way to educate teachers: "It is difficult to educate people, and it is even more difficult to educate teachers. We have a profound experience in this respect. The ancients said, teacher, preach, teach, and solve doubts. It can be seen that teachers shoulder the sacred mission, and normal colleges are the holy land for training teachers. As a teacher education worker, the responsibility is great and cannot be slack. "

He believes that Luoyang University Teachers College should take its own way in educating people, pay attention to characteristic education, train practical talents and produce more excellent products quickly. Since 2003, we have led the faculty and staff in the hospital to fully implement the "12345 project" among students, that is, to write a good article, master two specialties of microcomputer and musical instrument, practice three strokes (pen, chalk and writing brush), read more than four famous books at home and abroad, and learn, study and inherit the academic achievements of five scholars, teachers and models including our hospital.

All departments of the college took immediate action and came up with five sets of project implementation plans, which are classified, specialized, implemented step by step, managed at different levels, easy to operate and assessable. The students also responded positively. Every class has set up a literary club, and the enthusiasm for writing articles is unprecedented. Every issue of the school newspaper has two special editions, which are devoted to the excellent works of students in our college. The school library and reading room are crowded with people, and the number of books borrowed has soared. The school has to update supplementary books many times, and each class has also set up a book corner, where students voluntarily donate books to their classmates. There are as many as seventy or eighty kinds of sounds of practicing musical instruments in classrooms and dormitories during recess and after class. Tan Jie sang on the same stage with the students at the ancient poetry and ode meeting held by the college; Looking through the newspaper of Luoyang University Normal College, the reporter saw that the poetry works of teachers and students were published in an important position in the newspaper.

"There is no small matter in educating people in schools, and educating people everywhere". Tan Jie is well aware of this and has established the "three education principles": ideological education is the first, knowledge education is the best, and environmental education highlights beauty.

In moral education, he is good at focusing on the big picture and starting from the small things. I heard that in 2005, Gongmei Class held a class meeting with the theme of "Filial piety first", and he came here with great interest. After listening to the students' understanding of "filial piety", he followed suit and introduced moral education to the topic: "Filial piety, in a narrow sense, requires students to honor their parents and respect their teachers. Broadly speaking, it requires students to love the nation, the motherland, mankind, nature and the planet where we live. " He put forward the ideas and initiatives of "forgiveness" and "fraternity" to his classmates. Then, he talked about his deep affection with his mother, and on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of his mother's death, he recited his long poem "Hundred Rhymes of the Dragon Boat Festival Sacrifice to Mother". The students were deeply moved. Teachers' filial piety, loyalty, morality and behavior all moisten their hearts like spring breeze.

Tan Jie is unique in environmental education, which is unique in other countries. He constantly discovers and digs aesthetic education materials on campus with the inspiration of poets, carefully constructs campus culture with the wisdom of scholars, and builds the palace of environmental education with the demeanor of an educator. The school auditorium, named "State Inspection Office", is the former site of the 1992 national conference on normal education and the joint inspection conference of normal schools in nine provinces in central, south and southwest China. So named, its purpose is to let students remember the glorious history and tradition of the school, cherish the honor and create more glory. On the east side of the college playground, there is a long corridor surrounded by green trees, and pavilions stand tall. After brainstorming, Tan Jie and his teachers named it "Snow Corridor", and the two pavilions in the corridor were named "Li Xueting" and "Xiangputai" respectively. Its purpose is to let students know about Zhu Cheng Neo-Confucianism (also known as Luoxue) which originated in Luoyang, and two famous historical allusions related to the founders of Luoxue, such as "Cheng Menxue Pear" and "Sitting in the Spring Breeze" and other Heluo cultures.

The education project has not been completed yet, and the effect is obvious. According to the statistics at the end of 2003, more than 50 students in this college published their literary works in national newspapers such as China Campus Literature and Delta, among which 1 student won the prize in the national poetry competition between teachers and students held by China Education News. In 2004, Lu, a graduate of the college, won the first prize in one fell swoop when he applied for the graduate program of ancient Chinese in Henan University, with a score of 4 19. In 2005, after the fresh graduates of the college reported for performances, there was a lively scene in which employers competed for the students of the school.

Seeing this scene, Tan Jie, a tireless educator, showed a gratified smile.
