Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Zhuang language: Gvangjsih Bouxcuegh Swcigih) is referred to as Guangxi for short, because most of Guangxi belongs to Guilin County, which was established after the Qin Dynasty unified Lingnan, and its capital is Nanning, which governs 14 prefecture-level cities and 8 county-level cities. It is one of the five minority autonomous regions in China and the only coastal autonomous region in China. Located in the west of South China in China, it borders Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan in the east and west, Beibu Gulf in the south, Southeast Asia in the south and Vietnam in the southwest. It is the most convenient sea passage in the southwest of China and plays an important role in the economic exchanges between China and Southeast Asia.
