1. Workers who register for unemployment shall handle it by themselves with valid identity documents. Among them, college graduates need to provide graduation certificates at the same time to register for unemployment; For those whose ID cards and addresses are not in the local towns (including migrant workers whose addresses are in rural areas), it is necessary to provide residence permits, records that the household registration has moved into the local towns, agreements on renting houses or canceling labor contracts, and other materials that can reflect the experience of permanent residence or transfer of employment in the local towns.

2. Legal basis: Article 45 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law.

Unemployed persons who meet the following conditions shall receive unemployment insurance money from the unemployment insurance fund:

(1) Before unemployment, the employer and I have paid unemployment insurance premiums for one year;

(2) Discontinue employment without my own will;

(3) Those who have registered for unemployment and have job requirements.

Second, the role of employment unemployment certificate

1, as far as the whole country is concerned, is the basic data for statistics of population unemployment;

2. For individuals, the unemployment certificate is a legal certificate to receive unemployment insurance benefits;

3. The unemployment certificate shall be uniformly printed and managed by the Municipal Labor Bureau, and the district, county and street labor departments shall be responsible for the specific issuance and management;

4, where in the administrative area of the city has a formal non-agricultural permanent residence of urban unemployed people and urban enterprises in the labor force are applicable to the unemployment certificate;

5. The unemployment certificate is used to record the employment and unemployment of urban labor force, participate in vocational and technical training and pay unemployment insurance, and it is a certificate for unemployed people to apply for jobs and unemployed workers to receive benefits and realize re-employment;

6. Unemployed persons with blue-printed accounts shall, when receiving unemployment certificates, go to the issuing department for annual inspection with their household registration books and unemployment certificates at the end of each year, in addition to handling them in accordance with relevant regulations.
