Hunan vocational college of art is a public art college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government. The school was founded in 195 1 as an art school in Hunan Province, and has gone through the development stages of Hunan Opera School, Opera School affiliated to Hunan Art College, Hunan Opera Art School, Hunan Drama School and Hunan Art School. The Department of Fine Arts and Xinmeier Beijing Science and Technology Co., Ltd. set up UI major of advertising design and production, film and television lighting technology and art major.
The Department of Literature and Tourism cooperated with Huayu AVIC Group to set up flight attendant courses, cooperated with Wuhan Haitian Group to set up hotel management majors, and set up off-campus training bases in Hunan Opera Protection and Heritage Center, Hunan Xiang Theatre, Changsha Opera Protection and Heritage Center and Changsha Xiang Theatre.
