Nanyang Medical College, referred to as "Nanyang Medical College", is located in Nanyang, the hometown of Zhang Zhongjing, a sage of traditional Chinese medicine. It is a provincial full-time medical college with western medicine as the main body, traditional Chinese medicine as the feature, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and complementary advantages. The school is a postdoctoral research and development base in Henan Province.

Shangqiu Medical College, located in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, is a public full-time general college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 192 1 as the Nursing College of Guide St. Paul Hospital. It was upgraded to a medical college in 2004 and was selected as the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China in 20 15.

Henan Health Workers College is the only medical college directly under the Health Department of Henan Province. Founded in 1952, formerly known as Henan Health Cadre School, 1984 was upgraded to Henan Health Workers College, and 1993 was branded as Henan Health Workers College. In 2002, it began to recruit ordinary junior college students, mainly undertaking tasks such as academic education, continuing education and health vocational post training.

The college was once rated as an excellent school by the former State Education Commission and Henan Education Commission, and was identified as a "key school for general medical education" by the Ministry of Health. It is an advanced collective of vocational education in Henan Province and an advanced unit of health system in Henan Province.
