Fenggang Education Bureau organized 126 English teachers from all schools in the county and 65,438 English backbone teachers from primary and secondary schools in the county to gather in Fenghuang Middle School to discuss English education and teaching and how to break through the bottleneck of poor English performance.

Reform the evaluation system of English teaching

County Education Bureau has carried out formative assessment research on middle school English in Longtan Middle School, Fenghuang Middle School and Suiyang Middle School, focusing on reforming the English teaching evaluation system.

Actively carry out English characteristic teaching

Since 2006, the "English Teaching" project has been implemented throughout the county, and the characteristic English teaching has been actively carried out.

Teacher training and communication

The county teaching and research section has continuously adopted the way of "please come in and go out" to train key English teachers in primary and secondary schools, organize more than 200 teachers to go out for training and exchange, and invite more than 20 experts.

Interpretation of English Curriculum Standards

This activity was hosted by the county teaching and research section. Zhou Zhongyi, vice president and senior teacher of Fenggang Middle School, interpreted the English curriculum standards from the main features and teachers' roles, so that teachers could deeply grasp their respective roles.

Concluding speech of the Ministry of Education

Seven teachers, including Wang from Longtan Middle School and Tan from Fenghuang Middle School, made a summary speech on the formative assessment of middle school English by the Ministry of Education of their respective schools, talked about their own education and teaching experience in the process of project implementation, and put forward feasible suggestions for English teaching in the county.

Commend advanced experimental teachers

The activity also commended three schools, including Longtan Middle School, Fenghuang Middle School and Suiyang Middle School, and 16 advanced experimental teachers who made outstanding achievements in the project practice.
