(1) Applicant

The candidates for the Putonghua proficiency test are candidates and social workers who voluntarily apply for the test.

The testers listed in the Management Regulations of Putonghua Proficiency Test include: 1. Teachers and applicants for teacher qualifications; 2. Announcers and presenters of radio and television stations; 3. Actors in film and television dramas; 4. National staff; 5. Students majoring in normal education, broadcasting and hosting, film and television drama performances and other majors closely related to oral expression; 6 other personnel who should be tested as stipulated by the competent department of industry.

(2) Registration method

1. Take the Putonghua proficiency test, regardless of residence, place of residence or place of work. 2. Candidates who register individually must bring two 2-inch (1.5-inch) photos of their original valid ID card and recent documents.
