The assessment standard of swimming test for primary and middle school students, that is, "students can swim 25 meters independently without assistance", is considered as the test standard.

Schools around the country should promptly issue swimming certificates to students who have passed the test and assessment. The assessment must be signed (sealed) by schools, training institutions, students or parents. The education departments of cities and counties will conduct spot checks on the assessment, and submit the paper version and electronic version of the summary table to the Sports Health and Art Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education every month. The Provincial Department of Education will organize experts to conduct spot checks on the information submitted by local schools.
