The action goal of Information Technology Capability Improvement Project 2.0 requires that by 2022, the innovative development of information technology, education and teaching will be comprehensively promoted.

Facing the new requirements of the national project 2.0 to improve the application ability of information technology for primary and secondary school teachers. The basic study period is four years, and the bachelor of engineering degree is awarded. This major is an engineering major closely related to modern engineering technology, focusing on photoelectric information science and technology.

The course covers the fields of information engineering such as mathematical foundation, engineering optics, information optics, electronic technology, photoelectric technology, communication technology, measurement and control technology, computer, etc., so as to cultivate students with basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of photoelectric information science and technology.
