Article 31 of the Statistics Law stipulates that statisticians should have professional knowledge and professional ability suitable for their statistical work. At the same time, it is required that the statistical agencies and relevant departments of the people's governments at or above the county level should strengthen professional training and professional ethics education for statisticians.
