What is a crew document?
The certificates held by the crew mainly include the following categories.

Identity document

The crew certificate and passport are the identity documents of the crew, which are issued by the Maritime Safety Administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectively.

certificate of competency

The certificate of competency is similar to the professional qualification certificate, including the certificates of captain, ship pilot, ship engineer, ship sailor, ship mechanic, GMDSS general operator and GMDSS limited operator.

Professional training certificate

Professional training certificates include basic safety and social responsibility training certificate, lifeboat and rescue boat training certificate, skilled first aid training certificate, skilled boat and raft training certificate, advanced fire fighting training certificate, advanced medical training certificate, radar simulator training certificate, radar plotting and ARPA training certificate, ship security officer training certificate, etc.

Special training certificate
