BEC is called Business English Certificate in English and Cambridge Business English Qualification Examination in Chinese. It is an international business English qualification certificate exam specially provided for learners in the Cambridge series of exams. It examines the English communication ability in the real working environment and is recognized by many educational institutions and enterprises in Europe and even around the world as the English language ability requirement for entrance examination or recruitment. The Business English Certificate Examination starts from 1993. Business English Certificate Examination (BEC) is jointly organized by China and the United Kingdom, and the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education cooperates with the Examination Committee of Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. The Examination Committee of Cambridge University in the UK is responsible for setting papers, marking papers and issuing certificates, while the Examination Center of China Ministry of Education is responsible for registering, printing papers and organizing examinations.
IELTS (English: IELTS), the full name of which is the international English language testing system, is one of the famous international English standardized proficiency tests. Ielts was founded in 1989, and is organized by British Council, Cambridge University Examinations Committee and Australian Agency for International Development (IDP)***, in which Cambridge University is responsible for academic level and examination content, and IDP and British Council are responsible for holding examinations all over the world on a regular basis. Candidates can choose academic test (A) and training test (G). IELTS scores have been accepted by many educational institutions in Britain, Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and other Commonwealth countries, as well as more and more American educational institutions and various professional institutions. IELTS scores are valid for two years.
Advanced Interpretation is an examination organized by Shanghai Interpretation Examination Committee, which includes basic interpretation, intermediate interpretation (the difficulty is between Band 4 and Band 6) and advanced interpretation (the difficulty is basically equivalent to Band 8). It is divided into written test and oral test. The written test includes listening, reading and translation, and you can only participate in interpretation after passing the written test. The examination time is March and September every year, and one weekend is a written test day. Through the training and assessment of this project, we will train a group of translators who are competent for various foreign-related project negotiations, high-level meetings, press conferences, press conferences and international seminars for state organs, enterprises, companies and foreign-related units, and lay a good foundation for the training of simultaneous interpreters.
