The art history major requires the bachelor to systematically master the theoretical knowledge of Chinese and foreign art history and Chinese and foreign art design history (including Chinese and foreign arts and crafts history), have extensive humanistic literacy and strong writing ability, and have a practical understanding of contemporary art design and artistic creation, production status and market management. After graduation, students can engage in professional knowledge appraisal, researcher, teacher, editor and other work in cultural and artistic systems, universities, art galleries, publishing units, news media, art markets and galleries.
