On July 24th, a group of four people from the Provincial Electric Power Company and Changsha Electric Power Vocational College, together with the relevant personnel from the Organization Department of State Grid Huaihua Power Supply Company and Huaihua Xiangneng Rural Power Service Co., Ltd., visited the grass-roots power supply station of State Grid Huitong County Power Supply Company to express their condolences to the poor students' summer work-study program, and to investigate the new mechanism of training talents through school-enterprise cooperation.
During the activity, visitors went deep into Tuanhe Power Supply Station to learn about the work-study program of poor students in summer, and listened to the suggestions and opinions of the county power supply company and the grass-roots power supply director on the "order-based" training mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation in Electric Power Vocational and Technical College and the teaching courses adapted to the business reform direction of power supply station.
The director of power supply suggested to the leaders of the college that in the future, we should take social needs as the guide and professional application as the goal, and strive to cultivate all-round talents who can serve agriculture, countryside and farmers.
After understanding the difficulties encountered by interns and listening carefully to the suggestions of the grass-roots power supply director, the leaders of the college said that these interns were poor students trained for the first time by Changsha Electric Power Vocational and Technical College and Huaihua Rural Power Service Company. After graduation, they will all go to work in the front line of rural power supply.
Their learning and growth process affects the hearts of all leaders and teachers in the college, and it is also full of the expectations of power supply companies in provinces, cities and counties for talents.
Therefore, the college attaches great importance to the education and training of these students. In addition to offering professional adaptability courses, we also designed a new "order-based" talent training mode combining holiday work-study and vocational internship. At the same time, the college will track, analyze and evaluate their internship effect to prepare for the subsequent teaching reform.
On the same day, Changsha Electric Power Vocational and Technical College, State Grid Huaihua Power Supply Company and State Grid Huitong County Power Supply Company also visited Guanzhou Village, Tuanhe Town, Huitong County, and Mujiao Village, Lincheng Town, respectively, to express their condolences to the parents of two poor students who were directionally trained.
Encourage parents of poor students to work hard and strengthen their confidence. Colleges and power supply companies are willing to work with poor students and their parents to overcome difficulties, ensure that students complete their studies, achieve one-person employment and lift the whole family out of poverty.
