The history of Yong Opera:
As a local opera that was born in Ningbo and grew up in Shanghai, Yong Opera has really jumped from "Tanchun Opera Troupe" to a new type of opera with comprehensive artistic development conditions. It was gradually formed after accepting the leadership of the party and the government in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Someone in the industry once described Yong Opera as "a history of nearly 200 years", but I really beg to differ, because it is easy to cause misunderstanding.

Shanghai was liberated in May. 1949. With a strong sense of turning over, the vast number of Yong opera artists are actively involved in the new world of traditional Chinese opera.
