variety show

From the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China, the juggling of Lantern Festival became a folk custom. Its main forms are stilts, cores, dry boats, bamboo horses, lion dances, dragon lanterns, sedan chairs, flower drums and flower poles. It is characterized by stilts, a core and a flower pole. Stilts can be performed individually or in teams, and their costumes are very rich. Traditional stories dress up as heroes' meeting, Tang Priest's learning from the scriptures, Legend of the White Snake, Eight Immortals crossing the sea, Water Margin characters, Three Kingdoms characters and so on. Since the founding of New China, more and more people have dressed up as current affairs figures. There are "couples carrying water" to publicize the marriage law, and there are "landlords fighting" to publicize land reform.

Cores are divided into two categories: handling and lifting. An adult carrying a core will clip the core base on his shoulder and tie it around his waist. Choose a boy to tie it, tie it and tie it down, and perform together. Lift the core with a long log, with an upper tread in the middle and handles at both ends to prevent tumbling (used for legs when put down). When playing 1-2 people are tied to the wheels, and two people are carrying the ends of the log and holding hands.

The flower pole is a thin bamboo pole with a length of 1.5 meters, and two square holes with a length of 10 cm are punched at both ends. Copper coins are tied in the middle of the square hole, and velvet flowers are decorated at both ends. Five-color strips are wrapped around the shaft. The uniform color of the flower pole uniform is handsome, and the formation changes with the formation of gongs and drums.

1985- 1987, there are more than a dozen teams and nearly a thousand people's folk recreational activities every year. From 65438 to 0985, Dongzhen Village Acrobatic Team participated in the Zibo Folk Art Competition as Huantai Team and won the first prize of stilt performance.
