I. Software testing
Literally, the main job is to test the software. Find the errors in the software program, verify whether the software meets the design requirements and technical requirements, and evaluate the quality of the software.
With the increase of IT enterprises, there is a great shortage of talents, especially software testing talents. Of course, what we are talking about here is a software test and development engineer in a strict sense.
Need to be proficient in standard test procedures and be able to do performance, function and automation tests; Skillfully use Linux operating system and build test environment independently; Proficient in one or more databases such as MySQL and Oracle; Master at least one programming language such as Java, Python and C++.
In the teaching process of Snail College, we should not only teach students to do standard software testing, but also teach them to develop their own automated testing tools. We will let students use these tools to complete some projects, but these tools are not the core and focus for us at all. What we want to teach you is that automatic testing can be completed without relying on these tools, which involves the underlying working principle, and these are the focus of our study.
Second, the Web front end.
Front-end development is the process of creating front-end interfaces such as web pages or apps to present to users. Through HTML, CSS, JavaScript and various derivative technologies, frameworks and solutions, the user interface interaction of Internet products is realized. Front-end technology changes rapidly and needs continuous learning. With the continuous expansion of terminal application scenarios, the boundaries of front-end development are also expanding, and the number of job requirements will also show an increasing trend.
Snail College upgraded the Web front-end course by combining enterprise demand, enterprise technology research and current mainstream technology analysis with actual combat, added more project actual combat and framework principle analysis, and strengthened the front-end and back-end actual combat. You should not only learn how to use it, but also know how it came from.
In a word, software testing and Web front-end are good majors, which have great room for improvement and development prospects. Choose according to your own interests and good direction.
