With the aim of popularizing chess education, promoting chess culture, cultivating chess seedlings and discovering chess talents, the club is engaged in technical consultation, talent training, activity organization and planning, product promotion and publicity and other matters related to chess.

The club specially invited the international grandmaster Wang as the head coach, as well as a group of professional chess players and some professional coaches registered in chinese xiangqi association. At the same time, there are also amateur strongmen as full-time or guest coaches!

Since its operation in September 2005, the club has cooperated with nearly 80 schools, kindergartens, enterprises and institutions in Shenzhen to promote chess, and actively organized students to participate in various competitions and achieved excellent results!

In July 2009, Hua Teng represented Shenzhen in the 2009 National Chess League B, and won the championship in one fell swoop, becoming the first national chess league team in Shenzhen history!
